Bee Yourself
I had a new friend tell me she found my wealth of internet videos and wanted to know why I wasn’t MYSELF around her like I am in all these crazy vids. Loud and exciting. Jim Henson fighting crimes. It was a fun conversation, because I like the idea people seeing my videos and deciding who I am by them. Chumps. Am I being myself in silly videos? Nah. I’m generally a calm dude, I just turn it on for the camera, right? Who knows. Sometimes I hump the air and laugh out loud when no one is home. It’s fun to think about.
Be yourself around me. I used to say I can’t be myself around peeple until I know them five years. Nah. I can be myself around you in a weeks time. If I’m intimidated by you, not a chance. I’ll never be myself. No, I guess I’m still being myself. Shy and awkward is one of the many ways I be me. I think when I’m on camera is the only time I’m not being real. THINK ABOUT IT!
