Animation Test - July 2006
I think this is my only attempt at drawn animation.
When I was living in Hollywood by myself in July 2006, bored and lonely and on the verge of unemployment, I decided to try to animate a Channel 101 pilot. Using a backwards-ass method, I drew in pencil, scanned into my computer, colored, and sequenced in Final Cut Pro. This was the test. It was based on an Amir Blumenfeld script where breakfest cereal characters are having breakfast together. After spending all day on it, I gave up when I saw how it was coming together.
